Understanding the basics

CHAIRS

Materials:

Leather - There are various types of leather that we use and they are, split, top cow and 1st grade. 1st Grade is the better quality of leather. All of our leather chairs are leather faced with PU/ PVC backs.

Mesh - This is a more modern fabric than the standard fabric operators chair. All of our mesh chairs have a designer feel to them and are very comfortable and functional.

Fabric - These are our classic operators chairs. Designed for functionality and comfort.

What are the benefits of each material?:

Leather - These are considered by some the more "executive" chair as leather is considered a luxury material. Leather chairs also tend to be larger and of more traditional design.

Mesh - These are considered to be more "contemporary" and "designer" led than the other types.

Fabric - These are the classic computer chair and come in many different sizes and colours. They range from a standard 1 paddle up to a very functional 3 paddle.

What to consider when purchasing a chair:

How long will you be sitting on it at any one time?

Does it need to be a certain height?

Must it have arms?

Does it need to recline/tilt?

Does it need to be space saving?

Foil: This is a less expensive material and our range starts from compact laptop tables to
multifunctional workstations.

Veneer: This is a more expensive material as the surface of the products are made from solid wood. We have many veneer products from pedestals, traditional desks to functional and elegant hideaways.

Glass & Solid wood: The glass is tempered and varying depths from 5mm & 10mm. The frames are made from solid wood. Our range is stylish, sleek and contemporary.

Glass & Metal: The glass is tempered and varying depths from 5mm-10mm. The frames are made from metal. Our range starts from compact laptop tables to more functional workstations.
